Since November 2019, Richard and Kristjana have been leading Bethel Community Church. Committed to growth and development, they are working on developing their own leadership and encourage others to lead as well. They also share the work of discipleship, leading worship and preaching.

Opposite in many ways and similar in others, they make a highly complimentary team. They have four really great kids and a pup they call Fuzz.

​Sonny has been our Office Manager since February, 2009. During the week, he'll be the first point of contact you see when you come to the church office. He manages the day-to-day operations of the church and runs our main social media platforms. You can also see him on Sundays leading our Hospitality Team.

Sonny loves to travel with his family and is a big fan of our Winnipeg Jets. Go Jets Go! You may even catch him at the gym!He is married to Elaine and they have 1 awesome young adult son, Chris (aka CJ) and a very cuddly tuxedo cat named Charlie.

Jeremie's life is a testimony of God’s amazing grace and faithfulness. Growing up in a refugee camp in Rwanda, he learned early on that hope in Christ is hope in a sure thing. He truly is a way maker who turns graves into gardens. He committed to serve Jesus for the rest of his life at seven years old; God gave Jeremie a passion for young people: to see them encounter Jesus personally, discover the unique purpose He created them for, and live it out by making a difference in the world. 

Beyond ministry, he loves reading, producing music, playing sports, and engaging in conversations about Jesus, history and philosophy. 

Alejandra has been our Graphic Artist since June 2020, managing the website and taking care of various design needs. In March 2022, she became our Children's Ministry Pastor giving leadership to our Sunday morning children's program. Her hope is that every child that comes through our doors can feel the love of Christ and can encounter Him in a meaningful and lasting way.

She loves to travel with her family and loves to read. She is married to Felipe and they have two amazing daughters, Isabela and Alicia.

Felipe has been our Worship Arts Pastor since March 2019. He gives leadership to the band, technical and media & production teams. He is passionate about discipleship and mentoring through instruction and encouragement. 

Felipe is a huge fan of Formula 1 and loves to spend time relaxing with his family. ​He is married to Alejandra and together they have two beautiful daughters that bring him so much joy. 

Chris Ayson or better known as “CJ” has been apart of BCC all his life and has been apart of the BCC Team as the Media Director since October 2024. On Sundays you can find him in our production room, running our livestream and directing our tech team. During the week you might see him filming a video for our social media platforms or playing with new tech. CJ loves being around people and always has a smile on his face!

CJ is also a massive fan of Formula 1. He also loves to spend time with his friends and family. He is the son to Sonny and Elaine Ayson and has an adorable cat named Charlie.
