Hello Bethel Family!

We trust your families are safe and healthy, and we also trust that you are filled with God's peace when many around us are filled with fear. We are all being affected in some way by COVID-19 whether physically, economically, in our work, in our school and in our families. Things are changing moment by moment and we are relying on the Holy Spirit for wisdom and understanding about how to respond to these changes. With His help we can be resilient, flexible, adaptable and secure. We are all in this together. We wanted to reach out and update you on our plans moving forward.

We are now holding IN-PERSON gatherings in addition to our Live Streaming. These In-Person Gatherings are happening on Sundays at 10:00 am. You must RSVP to reserve your seat(s). Don’t wait until the last minute as we have limited seating available.

If you decide to join us at our In-Person Gathering, please note that physical distancing will be in place and masks will be required during the worship portion and places in the building where 6 ft (2m) cannot be met. Temperature checks will also be required prior to entry.

Before you RSVP, please answer the following questions:

1. Am I or anyone in my household showing any flu like symptoms?

2. Have I or anyone in my family had a fever of higher than 38c (100.4 f) in the last 14 days?

3. Have I or anyone in my family had prolonged exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19?

4. Is there any medical reason why I believe I shouldn't be around others?

5. Have you travelled in the last 14 days, internationally, or from Ontario (east of Terrace Bay), Quebec, Alberta, BC or the Atlantic provinces?

If you answered YES to any of these questions we strongly encourage you to refrain from registering at this time and to enjoy our online gathering on Sundays at 9:00 am on Facebook and our YouTube Channel.

If you are not yet ready to come back in person, we understand. We will still have our ONLINE Gathering on Sundays on our Facebook Page & YouTube Channel. We encourage you to stay connected ONLINE.

We believe it is important to be proactive and take precautionary measures to protect our community, especially those who are most vulnerable.

We feel that this is an opportunity for us to BE the church. Reach out to those who you have contact information for. Check on your neighbours and family members and remember to pray. You can submit prayer requests at prayer/ Be filled with faith today, knowing that God is greater than this pandemic and that we are in a position to be salt and light to our world for such a time as this.

Here for you,
Pastors Rich & Kris
